The Society of the Friends of the Dorothy Neal White Collection was formed in 1983 to support the DNW Collection – a collection of pre-1940 children’s books held in the National Library of New Zealand . In 2005 support was extended to also cover the National Children’s Collection and the Susan Price Collection. We also take an interest in the children’s literature collections held in the Alexander Turnbull Library.
